A well-lit space, an outlet, and room for a 7.5-foot-high, 4.5-foot-wide pop-up tent are all we need.

We’ll talk through your skin tone, tan goals, and schedule to choose your color and rinse time.

Get glowing, then get comfy.

Allow around 20–30 minutes for setup, your tan, drying, and cleanup. Then slip into loose, dark clothing.

A little prep.
A beautiful finish.

A few simple steps help your tan develop evenly and keep it looking its best.

Before we bronze

  • Exfoliate 12–24 hours before your appointment. Fully remove any old tan.
  • Shave or wax at least 24 hours before; schedule nails ahead of your tan.
  • Arrive with clean skin, free of lotion, oil, deodorant, perfume, and makeup.
  • Have loose, dark clothing and slip-on shoes ready for afterward.

After your appointment

  • Avoid water and sweating until your personalized rinse time.
  • Take your first rinse in lukewarm water without soap, rinsing the bronzer away fully.
  • Allow up to 24 hours for your color to fully develop, including after a rapid rinse.
  • Begin daily moisturizing the following day and skip scrubs and abrasive washcloths.

Do you travel to my area?

Southern Spray is based in Warminster, PA. Standard individual pricing covers locations within a 30-minute drive in Bucks or Montgomery County, including traffic. Individual mobile appointments in Philadelphia are currently unavailable. Groups of 3+ can inquire about travel outside this radius for an additional fee.

Classic or rapid—what’s the difference?

Classic comes in light, medium, and dark shades and rinses after a minimum of 8 hours. Rapid rinses in 2–5 hours, with the timing determining your depth of color. Holland will guide you at your appointment. Both continue developing after rinsing.

When should I book before an event?

Typically 1–3 days before your event. For weddings, plan 2–3 days ahead; for vacations, 1–2 days before departure.

How long does a tan last?

Generally 5–10 days, depending on your skin and aftercare. Frequent swimming, workouts, and exfoliation can shorten wear. Moisturize daily to help maintain your glow.

What should I wear during my appointment?

Wear what makes you comfortable. Underwear or a bra will leave visible tan lines. Disposable thongs, hair caps, and pasties are available. Afterward, choose loose-fitting, dark clothing.
